Problems in dog behaviour can have various causes: genetics, negative experience, poor socialisation at the critical time, language barrier (dog-to-us and us-to-dog), inconsistency, lack or rules, medical issues, boredom etc. Some problems are not even problems. They are normal dog needs and behaviours which are inconvenient for us so we look to replace them or redirect them (e.g. digging up your garden). In veterinary behaviour we try to understand the root cause and then we educate and train-the owner! You, the owner, are the most important link and if you understand what your dog is trying to communicate, your relationship becomes unmeasurably better! And that is the goal, right?
Cancellation Policy
Appointment Scheduling, Booking & Payment Policy To ensure the highest quality of care and dedicated time for each patient, the following policies apply to all appointments and by booking the customers confirms that the Policy has been understood and accepted. 1. Scheduling Appointments Appointments can be scheduled via phone, email, or online booking (if available). All appointments are reserved specifically for you and your animal. Please provide accurate information about: Your animal’s species, breed, age, and medical history The reason for the visit Any current medications or treatments, including food brands and supplement brands This allows adequate preparation and sufficient time allocation. 2. Booking Confirmation Certain appointments (extended consultations, integrative treatments, acupuncture sessions, physiotherapy sessions, behavioral consultations, or new client visits) may require a full upfront payment to secure the booking. Appointments are considered confirmed only once the payment is received. 3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Late cancellations or reschedulling may result in forfeiture of the part or complete payment. No-shows may be charged the full consultation fee. Repeated missed appointments may require prepayment for future bookings. 4. Late Arrivals If you arrive late: The session may be shortened to avoid delays for other patients. Significant delays may require rescheduling and may be treated as a late cancellation. Please arrive on time to ensure your animal receives full attention. 5. Travel Fees (For House Calls) Velika Gorica Area House calls within Velika Gorica (up to 10 km from the city center) are free of charge. Other Locations For all other locations, the starting point for travel calculation is Lasinja. Travel fee: 0.50 EUR per kilometer. Tolls and parking costs are charged separately. Shared Visits If multiple patients are scheduled within the same area (up to 10 km from each other,same day), the travel fee and toll costs will be divided among them. Parking costs are not shared and remain the responsibility of each individual client. Parking Requirement The client must provide a parking space within close proximity to the entrance (no more than 50 meters). All applicable travel fees, tolls, and additional costs will be clearly included in the price quote sent.
